Whenever I travel, I make sure that I know what taxi to take from the airport. I have to know that the taxi franchise prides itself in safety and honesty. Talk about your things left behind on the taxi. Will the driver ever return them? Not just for travel. Even when I take a taxi to and from work. I know our office has a list of trusted taxi franchise and their contact numbers. I keep those numbers on my cell phone. I just know who to turn to for help when I am running late for work. Also, it's nice knowing that I am safe while taking the taxi.

I hear London taxis are the best in the world. I don't even think New York City's Yellow Cab can compare. Plus, it looks way better and is so charming. It's like a little limousine and has that charm of a modern horse carriage only it's run by gas.

A classmate way back in high school, who now works as a nurse in London, swears that London taxi drivers are friendly. At one time, the driver started a conversation with her and it seemed like they were long lost friends. She also knows that London taxis take their business seriously. They have a good working meter installed and it's nice knowing that they don't steal your money by taking that meter way up high. Hearing this from her made me think that it is so unlike the city where we both grew up. Metered taxi here is such a problem. Plus, the drivers love to trick you and take that longer route.

Now, I feel safe knowing and when I plan to visit her, I can trust London taxis. It would be so scary getting caught up inside the taxi with the driver just like that American movie.
